Date On Photo Hunt Dancing Or Arcades

Date On Photo Hunt Dancing Or Arcades

Turn any event into a photo contest. If you and your date share a passion for photography, use it to build a connection. Challenge them to show off their skills. Take your cameras on a walk through the park and snap away. Don't forget to talk to your challenger as if it was a normal date and be sure to take carefully posed pictures of each other. If you have digital cameras compare photos in the view-finder to see who wins. Make up silly categories and even sillier prizes.

Date Range: First date

Price level: Low to medium

Photo hunt

If you took photos on your first date, get them developed and hide them throughout a bookstore. On the back of each photo write down the directions to the next photo, of which should eventually lead them to you. Make sure you place the photos inside interesting books and place them away from the heavy traffic areas. To make sure the book isn't purchased before they get there, place the photos inside the second or third book back. This allows your date to feel like a spy, provides them with a rush of emotions and shows off your playful nature.

Date Range: Second date

Price level: Low

Beach

Take your date for a walk on the beach. Let the wind tousle your hair, the smell of suntan oil fill your nostrils and grains of sand slip between your toes. Let your environment entertain you. Comment on people's bathing suits, point out who's trying to get noticed or talk about how to get a great tan. If it's late in the evening, and you've developed a connection, why not go for sunset swim. Relive the sexually-charged Hollywood late-night beach scenes.

Date Range: Second date

Price level: Free

Arcade

Where can you catch dance fever, hunt down dinosaurs and battle super-villains with your date - the arcade. Most people abandoned the arcade after their teenage years or replaced it with a Playstation, X-Box or Wii. The competition, the utter strangeness, the teasing of the senses, offers a truly unique dating destination. Remind your date why the arcade was so fun growing up. Show that you're not afraid to be a kid again.

Date Range: Second date

Price level: Medium

Dance Class

Learn something new while getting to know someone new. Drop in on a beginner dance class and try to dip and dance your way to another date. Dance class provides a relaxed atmosphere, continual motion and physical contact. If you had difficulty breaking the touch barrier on your first date, use dance class to shatter it on the second. Just don't treat dance class like a 'Dirty Dancing' remake. Keep your hands to yourself and your manners intact.

Date Range: Second date

Price level: Medium

Go-Carts

Instead of bringing your date to the Indianapolis 500, let them compete in their own. While million-dollar race cars may be out of the question, the miniature version isn't. Challenge them for go-cart track supremacy. Strap your helmets on and burn some rubber. Be sure not to lap your date. Keep it close. If there are others in the race, cool your heels. Remember, the goal is to have a good time, not stand atop the miniature podium.

Date Range: Second date

Price level: Medium

Bowling

You can always get a date rolling with bowling. The mixture of clownish shoes, bad food and a simple looking game that's actually difficult are all part of the attraction. For added fun, go on cosmic bowling nights where the lanes are lit up with neon colors. Give your date high-fives and compliments when they're doing well and gentle teasing when they struggle. Try to keep the scores close. It really doesn't matter who wins as long as you both have fun.
